I design, code, and strategize delightful websites and digital experiences for people like you.
My superpower is a unique mix of right and left brain – a creative and empathetic soul at heart, with a strong technical and problem-solving foundation from my first career as an engineer in the medical device industry.
Somewhere along the way, I figured out I was better suited to entrepreneurship than corporate life. In 2017, I left my last “real job” and my one-woman web consulting shop, Heartfire Creative, was born.
Since then, I’ve proudly worked with hundreds of clients across a wide breadth of industries, honing my skills as a multidisciplinary designer and problem-solver. I most love working with small businesses, startups, entrepreneurs, and other nimble teams with hustle and heart. New ideas, big dreamers, and tackling complex business challenges excite me. At my core, I love creating things, and my skills as a designer and technologist are simply supporting tools.
I prioritize deep relationships and great communication. When you hire me, I become an extension of your team, and am invested in your success as a business owner. You can count on me to deliver outstanding work, provide practical and creative solutions that fit YOUR needs and budget, and be a friendly expert you can trust.
I live in Bend, OR, USA, but work with people worldwide. If you're local, you can find me most days at my "office" The Haven Co-working (website by me!).
Outside Heartfire Creative, I am a real person with a big, adventurous, happy life. Time spent outside provides a great balance to the many hours I spend behind my computer. You can often find me running and riding the trails and exploring the mountains with a goofy border collie by my side.

⚠️ Good things take time. My waitlist for new clients is typically several months out at least. If you want something slapped together quickly and don’t care much about quality, we probably aren’t a great fit.
While my typical CMS of choice is WordPress, I’m a big believer of choosing the right tool for the job – this simple one-page site is built in Notion! I’m a proud Notion power-user, and you can be too.
