My superpower is a unique mix of right and left brain. I'm a creative and empathetic soul at heart, with a strong technical and problem-solving foundation from my first career as an engineer in the medical device industry.
Companies bring me in to solve tough technical and design problems: a confusing website, a business running on spreadsheets and chaos, a manual workflow that needs to become real software, a product idea that needs to be brought to life. Working closely with internal teams, I define the problem, design and strategize the solution, build it out, project-manage it to done, and stick around to support it as needed.
Since 2017, I've proudly worked with hundreds of clients across a wide breadth of industries. I most love working with small businesses, startups, entrepreneurs, and other nimble, growth-minded teams within larger organizations. New ideas, big dreamers, and tackling complex business challenges excite me.
My favorite kind of work is going deep with a handful of businesses as their embedded technical partner: managing their websites, building custom internal tools and full software products, and handling the tech decisions they don't have the time, expertise, or desire to own themselves. I plug into your team where you have one, and fill the gaps where you don't. Think of it as a fractional tech department: senior-level design, development, and project management across your whole stack, without the full-time hire.
I prioritize deep relationships and great communication. When you hire me, I become an extension of your team, and am invested in your success as a business owner. You can count on me to deliver outstanding work, provide practical and creative solutions that fit your needs and budget, and be a friendly expert you can trust.
Outside my work, I am proud of my adventurous, community-oriented, happy life. Among other endeavors, I co-lead a flourishing women's gravel cycling group, Goldilocks GRVL. Time spent outside and being involved in my local community provides a great balance to the many hours I spend behind my computer. You can often find me running and riding the trails and exploring the mountains around my home base in Bend, OR.
